Queen Boudica Of the Iceni by Nemesis Now. Boudica plays a massive part in British Folklaw and was the leader of the Celtic Tribe the Iceni. She lead an uprising against the Romans who occupied British soil in the year AD 60 or AD61.
She defeated the Romans and sacked their then Roman Capital of Britain, Colchester. Eventually after fighting many campaigns against the Romans she was defeated and its said she took her own life by poison to evade capture.
The spirit of Boudica lives on in this magnificent bronze effect figurine, its hand painted in some subtle colour which really brings her to life. Made of cold cast resin.
