Beltanes Bourgeon Greenman wall plaque by Nemesis Now. Beltane is a Witches Sabbat celebration, it forms one of the eight sabbats of the Wiccan Calender The Wheel Of The Year.

Celebrated on the 30th of April the May Day Eve and also on May Day itself, its a time for Jumping the Broomstick and getting hitched, many Handfastings take place on this day. 

Beltane is a beautiful time of the year when Nature is blooming and fertility is thriving, couples would often go off into the woods on the Beltane Eve and some surnames come from this custom such as Greenwood and many more.

This plaque represents more the male (God) aspect of Beltane and would bring fertility and all that Beltane has to offer to the home. Beautifully hand-painted made of cold cast resin.
